When do you meet?

Beavers: Monday evening, 6pm till 7.15pm

Cubs: Thursday evening,

Scouts: Monday evening, 7.30pm till 9pm

What does it cost?

Beavers: £2.50 per week

Cubs: £3.00 per week

Scouts: £3.00 per week

Paying termly is our preferred option, however if you have any concerns about paying in a lump sum, please speak in confidence to your section leader. Being inclusive is our priority and it is our aim that Scouting will continue to be accessible to all.

Where do we get the uniform?

Beaver Leader Jill looks after our uniform needs, and keeps a stock of uniform. For Beaver and Cub sections, Scout uniform can be purchased from Reading Scout and Guide Shop. 163 Northcourt Avenue Reading RG2 7HG.

Do you have spaces or is there a waiting list?

Beavers: When spaces are not immediately available a waiting list comes into place. We do hold a waiting list for children younger than five and three quarters to be able to invite them when they become the correct age.

Do parents need to be present?

In the Beaver section parents are welcome to stay for the first week to help the child settle in.
